Assorted specimen Bamboo
We've been collecting some amazing bamboo from two different groves and they've already started rooting out. We have some 25/30' Phyllostachys vivax (Giant Timber Bamboo). Some of the culms are over 4" !
We also have some Phyllostachys nigra (Black Bamboo). These are a bit younger and don't get as large as the Giant Timber, but have black canes that add an instant accent to any landscape. These are about 15-20' right now.
Massive Camperdown Elms ! ! !
Found 2 of these beauties and spent hours thinning them out doing some corrective pruning- the result were pretty stunning. 1 season to fill out and these will be full all the way around.
multi-trunk Crape Myrtles
We rescued these Lagerstroemia from a garden and have nursed them back to impressive Jr Specimens. They're approx 8'H x 10'W with trunks over 2" caliper. They would be very happy in a slightly warmer climate then ours. 5 available.
Tsuga canadensis 'Pendula'
Found some very cool upright weeping Hemlocks. Only about 10 available. Approx 9-10' tall!
Humongous Carpinus betulus 'Fastigiata'
We planted these along the perimeter of our nursery years ago after moving them twice so they have extremely vigorous root systems. They have grown to be larger than what we need here so want to find them a permanent home. They are approx. 30/32'H x 14/16'W. Would make a perfect instant hedge or a stand-alone specimen.
Bananas by the bunch
We have a 12 banana plants that we've been growing on for a few years in #45 and #95 containers. They've been cut back every year to develop their root systems and force multiple shoots and are now ready for sale.
We have (6) in 45gal containers that are approx 2/3' tall. We also have (6) larger ones in 95gal containers that are 3/4'H.
Prunus lusitanica
Usually we save this space for mind-blowing unique specimens, but every so often we come across some more frequently used plants of superior quality and like to share the opportunity. This are a beautiful crop of 5/6' Prunus lusitanica.
We have about 100 available, but they will go very fast. These are perfect as a single accent or an instant evergreen hedge.
Sycoparrotia semidecidua
A hybrid between Parrotia persica and Sycopsis sinensis, this medium-size multi stem tree exhibits traits from both. The leaf shape is similar to the Parrotia while the flowers resemble those of a Witch Hazel.
This tree typically measure about 10'H x 15'W- this specimen is over 25'H and 20'W. It's hardy in zones 5-9 and will hold some of its leaves through mild winters.
